Have your say on the Police and Crime Plan

As your Police and Crime Commissioner, I must publish a Police and Crime Plan for policing in Suffolk and I am in the process of drafting a new plan, which will run for the next three years. This new plan will set the direction of policing in the county and the activity which will be taken forward by my office.

The draft plan is now out for public consultation before being presented to the Police and Crime Panel in January.    If you wish to make any comments, as an individual, or a representative of your organisation, I would be pleased to hear from you.

Please click HERE to access the survey which will close at 9am on Monday 22nd November 2021.

A link to the plan is embedded in the survey but for those who do not wish to take part in the consultation, it is also available here:

I would like to thank you for your interest and can assure you, any comments you choose to make will be considered. Please feel free to share this email with anyone you think may be interested.

Police Notice – Purse Theft

“We have received a report of a theft of purse from a supermarket car park in Bury St Edmunds. The suspect has observed the victim using their pin at the checkout, then discreetly followed them into the car park. The suspect told the victim that they have seen someone cause damage to their vehicle, when the victim goes to look at the damage another person has stolen the purse from the insecure vehicle. Fraudulent cash withdrawals and transactions have then been made.”
