Barrow has two shops, hairdressers, fish and chip shop, post office, public house, several small businesses, and a village car park. There is a primary school in the village, together with a nursery, playgroup and mother and toddler group.
The village church is sited on the outskirts of the village. It has a closed churchyard and the parish council is responsible for the cemetery nearby.
Barrow has a recently refurbished village hall which is used by different village groups and societies and a playing field which has tennis courts, a children’s play area, skate park, football pitches and a basketball area.
Denham has no facilities other than the village church which has an open churchyard. There are several farms situated in and around Denham.
There is a large network of footpaths in Barrow and Denham and forty one ponds, three of which are the responsibility of the parish council.
