The date of the May meeting is 17th May 2021. This meeting will be a face to face meeting held in Barrow Village Hall. The capacity of the hall is 30 due to COVID.

ANNUAL PARISH MEETING
The Parish Council have been advised by the Association of Local Councils that it would be potentially unlawful to hold an Annual Parish meeting during an election period when a period of official Pre-election period (purdah) exist.
As the purpose of the annual Parish meeting is to report on achievements and finances during the past 12 months, holding the meeting during the period of ‘Purdah’ may risk a breach of the ‘Code of Recommended Practice on Local Authority Publicity’.
Therefore, given this advice, the Parish Council have taken the prudent step of postponing the Annual Parish Meeting until after the local elections on May 2nd. The meeting will now take place on Thursday 16th May at 7.00pm in the Village Hall.
