“We have received a report of a theft of purse from a supermarket car park in Bury St Edmunds. The suspect has observed the victim using their pin at the checkout, then discreetly followed them into the car park. The suspect told the victim that they have seen someone cause damage to their vehicle, when the victim goes to look at the damage another person has stolen the purse from the insecure vehicle. Fraudulent cash withdrawals and transactions have then been made.”
Suffolk Constabulary has published images of 48 dogs that were seized in a police operation on the outskirts of Ipswich.
